Two-Rep Tuesday: Ep. 3

FIX BROKEN OR BUILD AMAZING?

Fix Broken or Build Amazing?

Welcome to our latest episode of 2-Rep Tuesday, where we bring an insight (Rep #1) and a question (Rep #2) from the world of high-performance to get your wheels turning.

 🎯 Insight

In a team of five members, there are 10 communication lines. When team size doubles to 10 team members, suddenly there is a complex network of 45 communication lines.

Adding people (growing), without evolving mindset, model and leadership is a weak strategy.

Progressive organizations adapt to growth by decentralizing hierarchies, restructuring into networks of autonomous teams, adjusting leadership, doubling down on purpose and culture, prioritizing talent, building data-rich tech platforms and accelerating learning.

🎯 Question(s)

Is it possible college athletics needs more than a holistic model and/or more people?

Is it possible fixing broken is getting in the way of building awesome?
